Julie is a leadership coach with executive-level corporate experience which she uses to help leaders be more effective and create engaged, powerful teams. Julie's corporate industry experience includes technology, energy management, public utilities, and collective-bargaining organizations. Julie's leadership experience covers the spectrum from small, localized teams to cross-functional, enterprise-wide international divisions. Ms. Kearney has experienced first-hand the challenges of managing remote teams in multiple time zones and diverse cultures.
Leading the people function and as a member of the senior executive team, Julie managed multiple merger and acquisitions events. Responsible for the people-related functions, she gained perspective by being the acquiring company, and the company being acquired. These unique experiences became a training ground for learning how to be an emotionally intelligent leader, create open and transparent communications, and prove the servant-leadership approach.
During Julie's 20+ year career, she specialized in organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement. Julie has designed, developed, and led leadership development programs, teambuilding initiatives, succession management, and change/transition programs. Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Portland State University.
As the Board Chair of Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest, Julie leads the regional board of 30+ members provides evidence-based programming to girls in the Pacific Northwest.
